Q: Does Coral Dolphin Crafts Company use lead wicks?
A: Absolutely not. Coral Dolphin Crafts only uses FDA approved zinc cored wicks in our products to increase the melt pool for scent throw.

Q: Why do candle wicks become mushroom shaped on the top?
A: This occurs when the candle is consuming more wax than the flame can burn due to the wick not being properly trimmed prior to use. Remember to trim your wick before each use to approximately 1/4” in height.

Q: How long do your candles last?
A: A long time and that's exactly what you deserve. Our candles burn evenly consuming the entire contents of your candle. The following list details the approximate times for each candle: 3.7 Ounce -- 20 to 30 Hours of Burn Time; 7 Ounce -- 45 to 65 Hours of Burn Time; 16 Ounce -- 85 to 105 Hours of Burn Time

Q: I wanted to know what each candle's color is?
A: Our color descriptions, which can be found on the Candle page by clicking on Choose your strong scent, are intended to give our customers a general idea of the colors of our candles. However, due to individual hand pouring by our candle chef, the colors may vary slightly. We make every attempt to match our colors each and every time, but some may vary from time to time.

Q: What’s the secret in making your candles smell so strong?
A: Great question but that’s a secret. A little hint is we use the best products available in our candles – unlike the crystalline wax found in some brand name candles now.

Q: How will Coral Dolphin Crafts ship my products?
A: We ship our products using the Postal Service and Federal Express.

Q: Does Coral Dolphin Crafts issue refunds?
A: If, for some reason, you want to return your order, we will gladly accept any un-used, undamaged product in its original package for up to 30 days from the date of shipment. A refund will be issued back to the consumer for the purchase price of the product only. Before returning product, you must contact us to receive a Return Authorization Code (RAC) which you will place on a piece of paper in your shipment. When we receive your order, someone from Coral Dolphin Crafts will contact you to complete the refund transaction.

Q: How was Coral Dolphin Crafts™ established?
A: Coral Dolphin Crafts™ was established in Battle Creek Michigan in October of 2001. Since then, we have become a successful nationwide business that produces all of our candles in Battle Creek Michigan. We receive wonderful praise from our loyal customers and continue to try to create unique and innovative products that our existing and new customers can rely on. It all began with one candle lover that made her first candle in her kitchen and everything evolved from there. All of our products are hand poured and mixed right in our Candle Barn and are proudly 100% lead free. At Let There Be Light™ Candles we believe (and our customers tell us) that we have the best scented candles on the market. Our candles enjoy a complete and even burn with an amazing scent throw. We use only the finest wax with 100% Pure Fragrance Oil, topped off with an FDA approved Zinc cored wick. Q: How do you ship your candles during the summer months?
A: Great question. As with other manufacturers, hot weather poses an issue for our company when shipping to warmer climates. Effective in April each year, we will ship only on Mondays. If your delivery zone is close enough to prevent your product sitting in a delivery truck over the weekend then we will ship as late as Wednesday. If you select FedEx 2 day, we will ship your package as late as Wednesday. We also include ice packs as part of the shipment to aid in keeping the product cooler during summer months. Q: It seems like previously great candle companies now produce lightly scented candles. How do you keep your candles so strong?
A: Years ago, it became evident many quality candle companies went from selling strong scented candles to selling lightly scented candles to maximize profit. For the novice candle burner, they may or may not have noticed the change in quality -- for the candle lover, the changes were significant. At Let There Be Light Candles®, we are committed to sell only strong scented candle products -- our motto is to make your home or office "Stand Out in Scent". You simply can't do this with an average candle! As for how we do it, it’s a secret! Q: If I’ve trimmed the wick too short and am having trouble lighting it, what can I do?
A: When this occurs, we recommend the following trouble shooting technique. Dig out around the wick, light it and slowly rotate the jar carefully while the candle is lit over a table or other stable surface. Hopefully this will get the wick higher than the surrounding wax level and allow you to burn the candle to completion.

Q. I'm having difficulty getting the Bag-O- Scent wax tarts out of my burner. How can I remedy this?
Our wax is so soft which is great for allowing us to add the max amount of oil possible, however it makes "popping" them out when put in the freezer more difficult to get rid of wax when finished. The best option would be to pour out the liquified wax into an old jar or lined waste basket and then wiping out your burner with a paper towel.
